Itinerary

As soon as you arrive at the airport in Casablanca, your Moroccan journey begins. One of our kind and welcoming drivers will meet you with a big smile and help you with everything you need. From there, we’ll take you to your hotel so you can relax after the long flight. Today is all about rest and enjoying your first impressions of Morocco. If you feel good and not too tired, you can go out for a short walk near your hotel, feel the vibe of the city, or sit in a quiet café to enjoy a glass of Moroccan mint tea. Casablanca is a big modern city with French and Arabic influences. It's busy but calm at the same time. Spend the evening resting or enjoying a peaceful moment before your adventure officially starts tomorrow.

After breakfast, we’ll start exploring Casablanca. The first stop is the beautiful Hassan II Mosque. This mosque is one of the biggest in the world and sits right on the ocean. The details in the architecture, the colorful tiles, and the peaceful sound of the waves nearby make it a special place. After the mosque, we’ll walk along the Corniche – a nice area by the sea with cafés and ocean views. We’ll stop to enjoy a drink and relax. Then we’ll visit the Habous Quarter, where you’ll see a mix of Moroccan tradition and French architecture. We’ll also pass by the Royal Palace area (from outside). In the evening, you might want to try some fresh seafood at a local restaurant. It’s a great day to feel the heartbeat of modern Morocco.

After breakfast, we leave Casablanca and drive to Rabat, the capital city of Morocco. Rabat is much calmer and cleaner, and it has a beautiful mix of old and new. We’ll visit the famous Hassan Tower, an old and unfinished minaret that stands proudly near the sea. Just next to it, we’ll see the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, a beautiful white building where past Moroccan kings rest. After that, we’ll go to the Kasbah of the Udayas, a peaceful old fortress painted in blue and white. You’ll enjoy the ocean breeze and the relaxing gardens there. Rabat is quiet, but very rich in culture and history. Tonight, you’ll rest in a calm hotel and enjoy the simple charm of this capital city.

Today we take the road north, driving along the Atlantic Ocean. Our first stop will be Asilah, a peaceful coastal town full of art and color. The medina here is clean, with white walls decorated with murals. It’s a great place to walk slowly, take photos, and maybe enjoy lunch by the sea. After some relaxing time in Asilah, we continue the drive to Tangier. Tangier is a special city that looks toward Spain and has a long history. Once we arrive, you’ll check into your hotel and enjoy a free evening. You can walk along the corniche or just sit and enjoy the fresh sea air. The sunset over the water is always beautiful in Tangier.

Today is all about discovering the unique energy of Tangier. This city has been a meeting point of different cultures for centuries – African, Arab, Spanish, and French. We’ll visit the famous Cave of Hercules, full of myths and sea views. Then we go to Cape Spartel, where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Mediterranean Sea. You’ll visit the medina, walk through narrow alleys, and stop by the American Legation Museum – a place full of stories. Finally, you can have mint tea at Café Hafa, a historic place with a magical sea view. Tangier has a strong artistic soul, and you’ll feel that during your visit.

After breakfast, we leave Tangier and drive into the Rif Mountains. The road is peaceful and green, with hills and small villages on the way. Our destination is Chefchaouen, the famous Blue City of Morocco. When we arrive, we’ll check into a charming riad. You’ll have time to relax and then take a short walk in the blue-painted medina. The whole town is calm, beautiful, and almost dream-like. With its mountain backdrop and quiet streets, it’s the perfect place to slow down and enjoy.

Today is a free day in Chefchaouen. You can wake up slowly, enjoy breakfast on the rooftop, and then explore the town at your own pace. Walk through the blue streets, visit the Spanish Mosque for an amazing view, and stop by Ras El Ma – where mountain water flows through town. There are many small shops and cozy cafés where you can sit and watch the world go by. Chefchaouen is one of the most peaceful places in Morocco, and this day is for you to feel its magic.

After a relaxed morning, we leave Chefchaouen and drive toward Fes, one of the oldest and most cultural cities in Morocco. The drive takes us through rolling hills and farmland, giving you beautiful views of Moroccan countryside. Once in Fes, we’ll take you to your riad inside the old city walls. You can relax and get ready for a deep dive into Morocco’s spiritual and historical heart.

Fes is like an open-air museum. With your local guide, you’ll explore the maze-like streets of the medina, visit the world’s oldest still-working university (Al Quaraouiyine), and see how local people make leather, pottery, and metal work using old traditions. You’ll visit the tanneries, where they dye leather in large colorful pits, and see shops full of crafts. It’s a busy but exciting day full of discovery. Fes is where you really feel the soul of old Morocco.

We leave the big city and head into the fresh air of the Middle Atlas Mountains. Our first stop is Ifrane, a town that looks more European than Moroccan. It’s very clean and known as the “Switzerland of Morocco.” Then we stop in Azrou to see the cedar forest where wild monkeys live. As we drive, you’ll see green hills, rivers, and Berber villages until we arrive in Midelt, a small mountain town where we rest for the night.

Today we drive deeper south toward the Sahara. We’ll pass the beautiful Ziz Valley full of palm trees and small villages. Once we reach Merzouga, the edge of the desert, it’s time to prepare for your camel adventure. You’ll ride a camel through the golden dunes, watching the sun go down. Tonight, you sleep in a desert camp under the stars, enjoy dinner, and listen to Berber music around the fire.

After breakfast, we explore the area around Merzouga in a 4x4 vehicle. We’ll visit nomad families who still live in tents, stop by Khamlia village to hear Gnawa music, and see the black desert and old fossil sites. You’ll learn about life in the desert and how people live in this hard but beautiful land. Later, we’ll check you into a desert hotel where you can rest in comfort near the dunes.

We leave the desert behind and begin to cross the Atlas again. On the way, we stop in Rissani and Erfoud, known for fossils and traditional markets. Then we continue to Todra Gorge, a stunning canyon with tall red cliffs and a river running through it. After walking and taking photos, we go to the Dades Valley, full of strange rock shapes and beautiful views. Overnight in a small guesthouse.

After a good breakfast at your guesthouse in the Dades Valley, we continue our journey through more amazing landscapes. We’ll drive through the Valley of Roses, especially famous during spring when the roses are in full bloom. The road is lined with small villages where locals grow roses and make rose water and perfume. We’ll stop in Skoura to see its beautiful palm groves and old kasbahs. In the afternoon, we arrive in Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Morocco” because many international movies were filmed here. You can visit the Atlas Studios where films like Gladiator and The Mummy were shot. Nearby is the famous Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site—a magical old mud-brick village that has been in many films. After a day full of discovery, we stay overnight in Ouarzazate.

Today we drive through the Anti-Atlas Mountains, where the landscape changes from rocky to green valleys and hills. Our stop along the way is Taliouine, the saffron capital of Morocco. If it's saffron season, you’ll see purple flowers in the fields and meet locals who harvest this expensive spice by hand. After enjoying the views and learning about saffron, we head to Taroudant. This quiet city is often called the “Little Marrakech” because of its red walls, old medina, and lively souks. It’s much smaller and less busy than Marrakech, making it a lovely place to relax. Walk around the town, meet friendly locals, and enjoy your stay in a cozy riad.

Today’s journey takes us through some of Morocco’s most beautiful and less-visited areas. We drive toward Tafraout, a peaceful town in the middle of pink granite mountains. The scenery here is amazing, with strange rock shapes and small Berber villages. It’s a great place to stop and take photos or walk a little to enjoy the calm nature. Then we continue west to reach Agadir, a modern coastal city with wide beaches and sunshine almost all year. After many days in the mountains and desert, Agadir is the perfect place to rest by the sea. Overnight near the beach.

After all the traveling and adventures, today is for rest. Wake up slowly and enjoy breakfast with the sound of the ocean nearby. You can walk along the beach promenade, relax on the sand, or visit the old kasbah ruins for a nice view of the city. There’s also the Souk El Had, a big local market where you can shop for souvenirs, spices, and clothes. If you want, you can also try a traditional Moroccan hammam or a massage. Agadir is peaceful and relaxing, a good break before we continue to the next beautiful town.

After breakfast, we leave Agadir and drive north along the Atlantic coast. Our first stop is Taghazout, a small surfer town loved by visitors for its chill atmosphere and cafés with ocean views. It’s the perfect place to stop for coffee or take photos. Then we continue the road trip along the sea until we reach Essaouira, also known as the “Windy City.” Essaouira is charming, with its old Portuguese-style port, blue boats, white walls, and art galleries. The wind makes it cooler than other coastal cities. We’ll check into a traditional riad, and you can enjoy a walk near the beach or in the medina.

This morning is for enjoying Essaouira. You can visit the Skala fortress, walk through the relaxed medina full of artist shops and local craft stores, and try grilled fish at the port. The town is full of music and calm energy. After lunch, we leave for Marrakech, driving inland. The drive is smooth and not too long. Once we arrive, we’ll take you to your riad in the old medina, where you can rest and get ready for a new cultural adventure.

Marrakech is loud, colorful, full of life, and full of stories. Today you’ll meet a local guide who will walk with you through the main historical sites. You’ll visit Bahia Palace, with its detailed tile work and peaceful gardens, and the Saadian Tombs, hidden for many years. Then you’ll see the Koutoubia Mosque, the symbol of the city. The guide will also take you through the souks—narrow market streets full of color, spices, textiles, lamps, and handmade goods. You’ll end the tour at Jemaa El Fna square, where you’ll see food stalls, storytellers, musicians, and more. It’s a day full of energy and a real taste of Marrakech life.

Today we take a break from the busy city and head to the Ourika Valley in the Atlas Mountains. It’s not far from Marrakech, but the air is fresher and the views are green and relaxing. We’ll visit Berber villages, walk near waterfalls, and maybe stop by a local home to see how traditional tea is made. It’s a simple and beautiful day in nature, perfect to refresh your mind. In the afternoon, we return to Marrakech and you can relax at your riad.

This is your last full day in Morocco, and it’s completely up to you how to spend it. You can explore more of the medina, do some final shopping in the souks, or join a fun activity like a Moroccan cooking class or a food tasting tour. If you feel tired, just take it easy—go for a traditional hammam spa, enjoy mint tea on a rooftop terrace, or simply walk in the city and take in the atmosphere. It's your final chance to enjoy this magical city at your own pace.

Sadly, your grand Moroccan journey comes to an end today. Depending on your flight time, we’ll arrange a comfortable transfer to the airport.
