Itinerary
Firstly, our first day of the 4 days tour from Marrakech Merzouga will start with a pick-up from your Riad. Today we depart towards Dades Gorges, through the Tizi N'Tichka pass at 2260 m in the High Atlas Mountains. Thereafter, we will enjoy the scenic road in the mountains, we enjoy beautiful landscapes with different colors, We pass a few Berber villages along the way to Ouarzazate. We will visit the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou and have lunch here. Then we continue to Ouarzazate to visit “Taourirt Kasbah”. Afterward, we travel further southeast to the Dades Valley, passing valley Roses and fascinating Skoura palmary. We stay for dinner and overnight in Dades Valley in a local riad - hotel.
After breakfast, we will travel to Todra Gorges, the narrowest valley between the two highest mountains at this area where we live unforgettable moments with the panoramic sights of mountains the nature of the Oasis that add a wonderful touch to this calm valley. We will stay there to spend the whole midday until we take our lunch, and then we will move to Merzouga through Tinjdad the center and the village that plays a big role economical in this area, after crossing some small Berber villages until Erfoud the city of fossils and transferring stones from its natural situation to decorated one. Moreover, we will cross Rissani the city of the big market in this region, until Merzouga city of the Desert where we will travel by camels to spend the night in a camp between Dunes of sand, so we will spend an amazing night having panoramic sight of stars and with Berber drum.
Before taking breakfast, we will ride camel to climb the Dunes again to discover another wonderful show of sunrise, after coming back to our luggage in the hotel then travel by another road to visit more sights while we are taking the road back to Marrakech. First, we will start at many Berber Villages such as Alnif where we will see an old Castle, then move to Tazarine to have our lunch, Zagora to Ouarzazate to visit Taourirt Kasbah and spend some beautiful moments discovering its wonderful views. Finally, we will come back in panoramic outlooks to spend the night in Ouarzazate.
We will wake up early as possible because we will move to Ait Benhaddou before discovering Ouarzazate sights such as Studios. Then after our breakfast, we will cross the road to discover the most popular Kasbah in Morocco. First, Ait Benhaddou Kasbah is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Conclusion, it is a panoramic Castle of clay with beautiful architecture. Today this Kasbah is divided into two parts; collapsed one and is still inhabited by others. It mixes nature and people's ingenuity. Truly, it is located in hell, and that gives it a fantasy vision. We will have our lunch there. Ait Benhaddou Kasbah is a place where many international Films have prominence in the world. Briefly, it deserves your time, efforts, and your appearance. In the afternoon, we will travel to Marrakech by crossing magnificent sights.
